| A short bus ride north of Valpo is Vina del Mar, one of Chile's premier beach resort and also a bustling commercial center. Many moneyed Chileans and other wealthy Latin Americans own houses here.
It consists of two distinct sectors divided by Estero (estuary) Marga Marga - an established, prestigious area of traditional mansions on the south and a newer and more regular residential grid to its north. |
